My name is Mrs Oyinye Adewole or should I say formerly Mrs Oyinye
Adewole because I'm not sure if he still wants me to bear that name
anymore.
However, one thing I am sure of is that my name still remains Oyinye
and I come from Anambra State. I'm confused at this point because I
don't what to do or what I did, in the first place.
My story goes thus:
I was involved with a handsome man named Deji. We dated for over a year.
I really loved Deji with all my heart.
He was the first person I wanted to talk to in the morning and the
last at night; and he never disappointed me as he will regularly call.
However, he has always made the move for us to have sex, especially
when the atmosphere was right but I never obliged because I was a
virgin and wanted my own special wedding night gift not that I didn't
want it too though: but unlike most guys, Deji never pushed forward
each time I turned him down.
Our love was like a dream come true.
We eventually got married on the 28 of March, 2014. When we got home,
he finally came on me but I was too tired to indulge in sex; so I
pleaded that we wait till the next day, which he accepted.
We went off to bed and as at 2am that night, the worst happened. Five
armed men came to the house, out of which three raped me and they made
away with some of our belongings.
I was traumatized throughout the night; cried my eyes out. But I was
stunned when Deji packed my bags and threw them out the following
morning.
He accused me of lying.
He said I was never a virgin and that I organized the boys to cover up
my tracks.
*I'm confused, is this my fault ?
*I thought I was doing the right thing by waiting ?
*Did Deji really love me or was he just after my virginity ?
*Why would I want men to rape me?
Am confused and lost; I don't know what to do.. Please Advice
